ABOUT CLAIRE

Welcome! Claire is a mom of 2, with a passion for and background of working with young children. Claire is originally from Chapel Hill, and now currently located on 6 acres of beautiful, wooded forest in Hillsborough, bordering Chapel hill, Carrboro, and Durham. Like many others in the community, she truly loves creating opportunities for kids to have fun and learn together, especially outdoors.

Forest Friends Nursery finally became a reality after years of dreaming of a place for littles and their families to come together to play, bond, craft, and steep in the inspiration that nature offers. Her dream intensified after sending her own kids to outdoor preschools where they were basked in nature, daily rhythms, and friends. She is an avid gardener, homesteader, handwork enthusiast, lover of animals, and strives daily to guide our young children to respect our Earth and each other. She looks forward to the opportunity to have fun with your child while they grow and explore.
